DefExpo2018: Can countries exist without army?
Yesterday I went to the defense expo #DEFEXPO2018
There is war ship and there is anti war ship
There is submarine and there is anti submarine
There is missile and there is anti missile
There is tank and there is anti tank
There is masking wear and there is night vision
There is bullet proof safe rooms and there is tungsten bullets to pierce even 1/2 meter long steel plates and bust them.
For everything there is counter. Seems to be a never ending race.
And all of this for what. Just to kill humans.
Few meters other side of border line of a country is an enemy and not a human. This thought is so scary.
Defense is by far the biggest scam, of course only after religion. So much money is invested only to kill humans being.
The people who work for military are great and I respect their sacrifices so don’t get me wrong. But it stops there. Beyond that I see this is as a global conspiracy. If two states can solve disputes without an army why can’t two countries do the same. There are 22 countries without an army and some of those are listed here.
A mini version of this stupid arms race happens in America in civilian area too. They think they need to buy guns to protect them against guns in civilian areas. In Florida they have armed people with guns in schools to protect them against guns after recent gun violence in schools. This is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard. Rest of the world simply bans guns for civilians.
Every country has fallen for conspiracy of defense. We invest so much money even though we know big scale war is not possible. Otherwise there would have been war in North Korea by now.
Instead of reducing the spending we are accelerating it by inviting Indian companies to make weapons. #MakeInIndia for weapons. Does India want to be super power like America? No we should not. That path is broken, linear, uncivilized and illiterate.
Started out enthusiastically and ended up with not-a-great-feeling.
Left with lot of questions to ponder. 😊
