It didn’t strike me until I read this blog as to why I bothered less about my son’s rank or grade when he was studying in school. Simply that I never believed that succeeding in school means automatic success in life. Possibly this comes from my personal experiences of school, college and where I am in life. Real world is lot complex and school does not equip kids for this. I used to be very active in extra curricular activities and if I look back those activities made a lot of impact in my life than what academics did.

Best is for kids to get exposure to as many things as possible in school outside of academics.
